AA is worthless if 9 people see the flop with you.

[/ QUOTE ]

No holdem hand is worth anything odds wise if 9 people see the flop , that was my point , try reading.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is completely false, especially in regards to AA. Granted, no hand is a favorite against the field, but odds-wise? AA is somewhere around 30-31% winner 10-handed. I like those odds.

I'm aware. My point was that the more people are in the hand the lower it's odds are. AA23 does not share the same handicape in O8.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, that's your point. Gee, why didn't I realize that. The two statements above made it abundantly clear.

Here I'll help you by showing the WHOLE paragraph angry ripped the oldest out of to attempt to belittle me :

An example: AA is only has a "big advatange" if few people see the flop. AA is worthless if 9 people see the flop with you. AA23ds in O8 is just as good against 1 person as it is against 9 people and will win the same ratio of the time regardless of how many people see the flop or the river. AA cannot say the same.

Hold'em has the smallest luck factor. i.e., the best hand dealt holds up the most often.

[/ QUOTE ]

How does this make for the smallest luck factor? "The best hand dealt" is determined purely by luck, not by any sort of skill.

*All* poker has the same random factor in the dealing of the cards. What happens after that separates the different forms vis-a-vis variance.

Hold'em had the LEAST variance of any other poker game, but the MOST fish who think they know what they are doing.

The is "luck" or chance involved with all gambling.

Read Gambling Theory and Other topics. This will help your poker game.

Sometimes a player blames luck instead of poor play for loses, when in fact they should blame themself.
