i dropped $3500 today. it hurts.

i made almost half of it back though, and i'm up ~$300 since yesterday afternoon, so it's not all bad.

suggestion: don't go on tilt 4-tabling $15/$30.

I dropped a little over a dime in the 30/60 at C-bury when I decided to take a shot. Played fine, but the luck was not with me.

Of course, I dropped about 100BB's at the 12/22/04 massacre there when the lineup consisted of BanditBDL (Brian#2), Milo, Schneids, Myself, Gonores, two random guys, BK (Brian#1), and another random. Good times. Good [censored]' times. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Ivey has been a gambler all his life. The guy is the iceman under pressure. Nothing bothers him. Hell he was hiding under the table with Lindgren when that casino in France was being robbed. Arieh was pissing his pants, but Phil was telling E-dawg he wanted to double up that hand.

I heard Ivey was hustling people at Pac-Man when he was a kid. He knew the pattern and could beat the game every time, so he just kept taking people's money when they took bets against him.

Those guys have played the highest limits they could barely afford to play. If they took hits, they would drop back down, rebuild their bankroll and try the bigger games again. Eventually after enough tries, they'd beat the bigger games.

From what I know, Ivey didn't go to college either.

If I remember correctly he also spent part of his time seated directly between me and Gonores... A sure fire way to lose a lot of chips while we tangoed with every street multiple bets or caps.
