BTW, I like this play if either

i) MP2 is not shortstacked
ii) He is a LAG, (which increases the chances you are ahead of him) and you want to knock out SB and MP1

I think betting the turn would have been a mistake.

Possibly, but checkraising the turn is also a mistake. Small pot your bluff has to work quite often to be profitable. Guys with very little $$ left tend to play much looser, not the other way around.

Possibly. But I think I was bluffing with the best hand.

A bluff with the best hand is when you believe you might be behind (or likely are) but in fact have the best hand.

So, putting them together we get:

This makes no sense.

You put them together incorrectly.

Look, it's not my problem that you don't understand how one can bluff with the best hand on a semi-bluff. It's not up to me to educate you, and you're clearly determined to be a dipshit about this, so I'll just let you.

But putting those statements together in the idiotic way that you have is ridiculous. I never said "Possibly. But I think I was bluffing with a hand where I think I am likely behind." and it is clear what I was doing. I was bluffing by representing a big hand with a hand that could both improve and might be the best.

If you cannot or will not understand this, then it explains a lot about your poker ability, or lack thereof. It's a pretty godamn simple concept.

If you are behind here, you could either be drawing dead, or you have 3 outs. To say this is a semi-bluff is stretching things.

Just bet the flop.

All this arguing is entertaining and all, but the real correct thing to do is listed here.

What makes you so sure you're bluffing?
