Nice! I rarely complain as well. I'm still laughing from the comment of "this some came out when I was in like Kindergarten" Good times.

Table was great I just couldn't get anything going. Big pairs ran into bigger pairs three times. Draws whiffing, wasn't really anything out of the ordinary, I just was getting frustrated so decided to bolt.

You like how I got the seat that fast?

List 28 deep, I waited exactly 10 minutes.

I whine a lot to Bicyclekick, NLSoldier, and to a lesser extent Gonores.

Alright, I sent some whining back to him today. Nothing like losing 6k in an hour this afternoon, or in bb terms a little more than a big bet per minute (was playin 40/80 and 50/100)

Yuck.

And now i've whined to you guys too.

I hear that, same here but I just never manage to leave games until I have to...I never have it in me! 1-800-GAMBLER is it? LOL j/k

I don't think I played many hands when you were there (or the rest of the night/weekend), pretty boring set of sessions for me with relatively few interesting hands.

OK yeah that was sick. There are like 5 people sitting around, holding chips (!!!) to get in the game for well over 2 hours and bunky comes in and is sitting in 10 minutes. That was funny as hell. CCx told me the story about the "last call for XXX" and you cutting out of the convo with a "LOCK IT UP!" Hahaha good stuff!

i thought u liked me being a tease

In all seriousness, during downswings i just laugh and hang in there, it eventually has to turn around. I had one that was so bad some time ago that I had to make myself drop down a level b/c my bankroll was getting into danger at the level i WAS at. It was kinda a bummer, but i didnt let it bother me, and of course people i knew telling me i made the right move helped with the "it not bothing me much" factor. Its all in ur head!! So just ride it out the best u can and dont focus on that others r still going up and dont question ur play IF u know its pretty solid - both of these r just gonna hurt u more. So basically - JUST HANG IN THERE!!

IF it helps YOU "mentally" to take a break or re-read a book then go for it, u know urself better mentally than anyone else. While u may need a break others might just need to go for a walk and relax. If my run goes on for a week or so i consider a day off, but when tomorrow comes I usually feel like playing, but then again i try my hardest not to let it affect me mentally b/c then its just gonna cost me money, and this is a feat b/c im a girl!!! Were overlly emotional so i hear!

Eventually it will even out, but it isn't going to even out by not playing. On the other hand, if you continue with altered play and make bad decisions, its best to take a break for a few days or maybe a few weeks and come back with a clear head and even temper

stuff like this is said so much, and seems so easy to understand, yet i would not be surprised if most people didnt adhdere to it. i have been running pretty bad since early january and shook most of it off, and even had the maturity to step down a few levels. unfortunatly, my game eventually stepped down a few levels.

i just finally realized that i have been playing really bad the past week or so. fortunatly, playing very tight is as second nature as washing from top to bottom, so it wasnt 'that' bad, but i made just about every post flop mistake you can make. i can deal with losing (i have to) but playing bad just makes me question why i even play this game.

so my new resolve is to play the best poker that i can and let ther results fall where they may and at the first sign of poor play (usually weak ass call downs) i stop and take at least a one day break. i am not good enough to overcome this form of tilt, and i doubt most of you are either.

tough times dont last, tough people do.
