Tao of Poker actually tangentially touches on this when it talks about how every player goes broke now and again and the feeling you get is: "Maybe I never really understood the game...maybe I was just getting lucky all the time." That's The Fear in a nutshell. I'm not sure it ever really goes away completely. That self-doubt will always be nagging in the back of your brain. But if you count your winnings loudly enough, you can drown it out. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

closest ive seen is river a royal, boat, turn a royal doubt ill see that again in my life in a straight game...
