Re: WSOP \'04 2-7 Lowball Event footage
Thanks.
Funny sidenote: I've never seen it myself. They are supposed to be sending me a DVD of it, but I haven't gotten it yet. And I'd love to see the no-limit Deuce event, but when I click the link, it says I don't even get the site at all on my internet cable provider. Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) |

Looking on tvguide.com, ESPN2 has "Final Table with Fossil Man" at 11pm this coming Sunday.

Re: Warning: Spoiler on who wins.
I agree re the whole bluffing thing. It seemed to me much more a mathfest. Not that that's a bad thing.

Thanks.
I appreciate you making an effort for me. It's this kind of attitude that makes this a great site, despite a few troublemakers.

[/ QUOTE ] When I saw it, the most evident detail that made it different from other WSOP/WPT broadcasts was how it was so much more laid back. Of course, it made sense when at least 4-5 players play cash games where the big blind is higher than the tournament entry. Lyle Berman ordered fries for everyone right before he busted out. Re: WSOP \'04 2-7 Lowball Event footage
It looks like the free trial is over. Did anyone save this or does anyone know some other place where I can find it?
Thanks |

Re: WSOP \'04 2-7 Lowball Event footage
I believe they use flash video technology to play the videos (compared to mpg, wmv, or quicktime) and those can be tricky to save.

Re: WSOP \'04 2-7 Lowball Event footage
Greg, thanks for the commentary of the final table. i really learned a lot and it gave me insight into the whole psychology of a final table.
btw, how did u find out Matt Dean's strategy from his "friend"? i would think a "friend" wouldn't divulge that much info to an opponent, especially when millions are at stake! |

Re: WSOP \'04 2-7 Lowball Event footage
A friend of mine came up to me and told me. He said he heard it from a friend of Matt's. I don't know anything else, but certainly there was nothing underhanded going on, just a guy running his mouth too much.
