If you lived here you would see that most americans hate the man and know he is full of s h i t....Your only source of info is the media..(who loves him) The portray him as being influential and loved...In reality he isn't....He has made one good documentary though...Roger and me...It is about corporations shutting down factories in the US and moving them overseas...He makes some good points in that movie...However, you are correct in your evaluation of his recent flick...Total BS!!!! You really should tell your teacher that his/her job isn't to teach opinion, but to teach fact... Not that that would do any good...Looks to me like your teacher is clueless to what is true and what is simple minded Hollywood propaganda...

Typical 2 wrongs make a right left-wing logic.....

[/ QUOTE ]
Left-wing logic? I don't like Rush Limbaugh, so that makes me "left wing"? Please explain what information in my post was "left wing" logic.

[ QUOTE ]
Similiarly,

If there is going to be racial discrimination out there we shouldnt enforce laws forbidding it rather we should mandate that the federal state, and local governments(along with any universities they run or do business with engage in systematic rascism.

Those measures obviously lead to less rascism..........

[/ QUOTE ]
Racism isn't a big concern of mine. I am against affirmative action, but other than that I really don't care much about it.

[ QUOTE ]
P.S. Does Rush Limbaugh tout himself as the spokesman for the lower middles class?? Does he talk about his upbrining in Flint Mi show a dilapidated row of houses in downtown flint and talk about how GM crushed his life by their "greed"?? Of course his real house was situated in a prim and proper suburb which was almost entirely white and affluent. The difference between Rush and Moore is a hypocrite...Rush is just a garden variety idealogue. BTW im not a big fan of either.

[/ QUOTE ]
They are both hypocrites. Of course, Limbaugh is not whining about his upbringing, greed, etc. because that is not his schtick. Personally I think the world would be better off if both were lobotomized, they are equally useless.

I've been trying to teach fact all semester, but the students seem to be growing weary of comma splice exercises.

I could bet that more Americans hate George Bush than Michael Moore.

And you're wrong about the media, they don't like him, the protrayal of the media in Far 9/11 is not very good, they were just cheerleaders for the goverment and the war, not real journalists.

Well we had a poll on the presidents popularity back in Nov. maybe you took part 100 million+ Americans did, you probably know the result already. Liberal are in such denial they will tout how unpopular the GOP and president is after they just raped the Dems in a national election...
