I think I have been incredibly lucky, since I have run well when I needed to, and run bad when it has not hurt me too much. Also, I have had a lot of tournament success. I think my tournament game is reasonably strong, but that just means I am better situated to do well when I get lucky.

The key phrase you guys must have missed is, "over the course of your poker career". If your poker career started before birth, then I apolagize. FWIW, I have the same feelings for myself as Paluka. My luck at MTT final tables, 100/200 and 25/50 NL has been pretty poor, and that's completely understandable with under 10k hands played in those situations.

Although I answered "I have played so much poker..."
I got incredibly lucky in the beginning, considering I started Party with $50 and not even a sign on bonus. Just two $25 NL buy ins. Whew!

I have to say that I've been extremely lucky. I don't play tournaments very often...4-5 a month, on average. But in the last three weeks, I won a 440 person 100+9 on party for 11K, and took fifth in a 2060 person 200+15 on stars, for another 20K. Plus there was that month where I decided to take a shot at Party 15/30 with a 4K bankroll and ran it up to 20K in two weeks.
So yeah, I've been pretty f***** lucky, I'd say. Will
