i was not able to get a banquet room for what we needed, but i had no problem reserving rooms in the tower just yesterday. i'm going to be there for the taping and had already booked rooms for the 17th and 18th. a friend wanted to join us and i was able to get him hotel room for both nights with no problem. i also used wampum points for his room, so that may indicate that they are not even close to being sold out.
cocktails anyone? let's at least have a drink.

Well, we couldn't get a room for our dates, and we don't even want to be there for the main event! They must have had some cancellations.
Count us in for the drink (at least). We don't drink alcohol, but a cup of joe is fine. hmmm. there is a slot tourney on the same day as the finals (17th). i wonder if there was a rush on the rooms left. i got tower rooms, and got them at a $79 rate. have you checked the other 2 hotels? i'll do an official 'cocktail/coffee' meeting post a few days prior.
