I would be there a lot.... but my car has been broken down for some time.

My gambleholic roomate is suppose to go with my on saturday. I think.

edit - have you kept any stats on your WR in that game?

Also, live NL drove me crazy in the few hours i've ever played it.... theres something so unwholesome about the standard preflop raise being atleast like 6BB's and a starting stack of 33BB's at the mash.

yea i really hate the short buy ins too. you gotta wait for the games to get deeper stacks before it starts to play like "real" NL.

I'm right with ya Sponger on the bad day. So far today, I'm down 100xBB after losing with AA and KK preflop, and losing all-in to a flush draw who caught it on the river. It will end eventually. Just don't change your play because you're on a bad streak.

KK UTG, I try for a limp-reraise... it doesn't work and its heads up between me and the BB.

Flop is Q x x with 2 clubs. I pot he calls. Turn is a blank I near pot he calls. River is a 2 of clubs. He checks I check and I lose to Q2

72o in the BB. Flop is 72Q. I already have the "fold to any bet" button checked... so I check, someone bets $3, I raise to $9 and he calls.... Q on the turn.

(This next one was on Brian462's table, I'm sure he saw this and might care to comment)

66 in LP. 1 limper to me and I call and Brian checks in the BB. Flop is 6 T x 2 clubs. check, check, I bet $3, limper calls. Turn is a blank, checked to me and I bet $8. River is a club, limper goes all in for $26

AKs in MP. Maniac with a 24% VPIP raises to $5 from EP. I go all in for $50

EP bets $10, I raise to $40, MP calls and is all in, LP raises all in, EP better folds and I call.... no diamonds come and I lose to a flopped set/turned boat.

(was that a horrible play? yes or yes?)

sponger,

i lost circa 13 buyins on 100 and 200 party on my first run. busted out for the site. and i crush 5-10 plo and nlhe across the net. it's just variance. hang in there. always pays to tighten up preflop and pay special attention to not bluffing the calling stations, not firing the second barrel at all when you're taking a beating that bad, and betting your big hands hard.
