i agree..and have posted that in my other posts.
i was just commenting on his stating that KK is more likely than AK due to Marcel having an ace.

Not too many people make guesses and then keep repeating "you had kings. no, i know you had kings. your kings were good." etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

he said," You had kings." but then he added, "Or queens were good too"...so he wasn't positive.

[/ QUOTE ]

That must have been a different hand you're referring to. In this hand it was something like...

"your kings are good"
kings?
"yes, you had two kings"
i wish, a-10
"no, you had kings, your kings were good"

Of course im paraphrasing, but that's the jist of it.

It wasn't so much that he was right about the hand, I've seen people guess right before. But in the past it's always come off as guessy (I know thats not a word). It was the pure unwaivering confidence he had in saying he knew he had kings was what made this different in my mind.

No, I am almost 100% sure he did slip in there something about queens or some other smaller pair. It was very quick, and I agree your dialoge is pretty dead on, but he did say something at one point like "maybe its queens".

Actually, the bit about queens was him saying that he (Marcel) had queens and that's why he folded, as he put his opponent on Kings.

I'm a little late to this discussion because I just saw the hand for the first time last night. What I thought was priceless was the look on the guy's face who was holding the KK when he was told he had kings. He was really perturbed!!

Watched it again yesterday and you must be thinking of a different hand.

Luske never waivered once about his "guess" that he had kings. He said "kings" about 500 times.
