Thanks, I signed up for it a week ago, and am a big fan. Maybe I'll send them an email and see if I can get the same offer.

its seems like everyone is agreed that gamesgrid is tighter and therefore much harder to profit from.

i agree its tight but so many of the players suck postflop.

most pots are headsup or one player against the blinds and i think those kinds of hands can be pretty hard to play at times. there is definitely a lot of money to be made from the players there. i see a lot of players who refuse to fold 22 regardless of the board headsup and last session i have had the bb threebet me preflop with 34s and T7o.

along with this overaggression i have seen a lot of players make some really bad slowplays. waiting until the river to raise with a set when they are headsup with an UTG preflop raiser...

it might not be party, but i am very comfortable playing there. i used to play primarily at UB and people say those games are too tight, so that might be related to why i think the way i do.

I made $77.90 from VFP last week in 10.5 table hours between 2/4 and 3/6, actually done in about 4-5 hours of real time. So now they're going to cut that in half and I'll only make $38.95. Oh heavens no. If you include the bonus, which you'll basically always be on, at 2/4 or 2/6 you should still be making 1-1.5 BB/hr/table. Thinking of it as 50 hands/hr, thats 2-3 BB/100 even if you just play breakeven play. Sample Size may be small, but in those initial 10.5 table hrs, I've managed to pull down 3.4 BB/hr/table. Put it all together and last week I made about $28/table hr, or somewhere around $60/hr real time. I'm not seeing any reasons to leave this site.

8-handed 3/6.

I make it 2 bets preflop with QJ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] from the CO. BB 3-bets, I call.

Flop (6 sb): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Check check.

Turn (3 BB): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Check check.

River (3 BB): T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Villain bets, I raise, he reraises, I 4-bet (cap on GG is 5 bets), he calls.

CO (Hero) shows Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
BB (Villain) shows 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Pot (11 BB) won by Hero with the nuts.

Villain, in chat: "nh. my fault."

it was too good to be true...

Well.. that depends. Personally, I prefer no fold'em holdem. So, playing at GG is kinda like purgatory. But for those that enjoy no flop'em holdem, 1.5bb/hour is still a little bit of heaven on earth.

So at present do you think it is worth it to play there? FWIW, I been playing super LAG at the 2/4 games and took home a nice win yesterday. Playing TAG definitely wont work in those games but LAG seems to do pretty well (stealing with any face card and using blind aggression, c/r bluffs).

They are just a different kind of fish. Weak tight ones.

VFP aside, I don't see anything positive at all about Games grid. I think the software is terrible and the games are about as bad as you can find.

I may play there if there was no other bonus for me to clear.
