I'm not sure sure what the real world is, but tell sucker to stop referring to himself in the third person, and ask him what the hell the word "thus" means. Anyway the sucker seems to know what he is talking about here.

the opposite is true for me. I find if I have had a good day so far at 15/30 maybe up $1500-$2000 and move up to 30/60, I play horribly. I always have it the back of my mind that I could lose everything I won in 5 or 6 hours grinding it out at 15/30 in maybe 40 or 50 hands. I play like a complete nit. Conversely, I play as good, of not better if i move down to 10/20 knowing I will finish the day ahead, even if I do get cold decked for a few hours. Whenever I take shots at a higher level (30/60 for me), I feel I play my best when I'm either even or down a bit for the day, ideally just starting out.

[/ QUOTE ]

I find a healthier way to deal with this is to give yourself a "shot" bankroll for $30/60, maybe $6000 or whatever. Consider the money gone already. Make a pact with yourself that you are prepared to lose this money on the condition that you lose it whilst playing your "A" game, and not playing scared.

Now, when you have a good day at 15/30, you are still $2000 up - whatever happens at 30/60. When you are feeling alert and confident with your game, play some hands at 30/60 out of your "side" bankroll. If you lose the 100bb or whatever, then you might need to investigate and see what went wrong. If you hit a nice run of cards, you could find yourself bankrolled for 30/60 sooner than you think....

Unlike you, he actually picks up his phone. His number is out of service now. Maybe its punishment from the cell phone gods for breaking up with his hottie g/f last year.

I certainly would not be so bold to conclude that someone's cell phone is not working if they don't answer it when you call.

The "real world." Lol. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that there's these things called "jobs," and that you can get this stuff called "money."

You've gotta losen that mask a bit, because I think it's cutting off the circulation to your brain.
