no big story, things could be a lot worse. i just basically have no real relationship with my parents or siblings.

Then why do you still choose to live at home?

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah no kidding...for someone who "destroys" the 10/20 game, and has scored some big tourny wins, its not like you are strapped for cash. What are you, like 23 anyway? Moving out would be a huge +EV move. The only reason anyone over the age of like 20 should still live with their parents is if they are poor.

It has to do with how you value things... but it makes sense to rent. Do I value living on my own, having a completely different social life, throwing parties when I want, going to Foxwoods till 5 am without ever having to deal with opinions from my family, and a trillion other things.... well, do I value this at atleast 10k a year? absolutely. I cant afford to buy anything yet, but my life is much better because of living away, and Ill accept that fact that I am not gaining capital as a neccesity to many people in their younger lives.

How do you um... deal with girls, living in your parents house?

How can you not have enough to move out? Didnt you just win like 58K in some tourny? and if you are as good at 10/20 6max as you claim, you should easily be making a minimum of 10K a month. For someone who is trying to be smart with money (not renting), you have to be doing something incredibly wrong with it, in order to not be able to afford your own place.

you know how much a place costs here? big bux.

i have about $60,000 in freed up cash. not enough. need a loan but that's tough to get w/ no job.

also, i play about 5 hours/week of poker. i'm sure i could make $10K/month 100%. i just think poker is boring.
