Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
Hey Tom, there are very few pearls of wisdom here. It's not a serious strategy guide at all. It is a parody of all the strategies the fish use when they think they are playing smart poker. You might have had some success with it once but I would recommend you pay more attention to the wisdom found in the anthology of wisdom.

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
Thank you argy I have been reading through the anthology too I like to take a variety of ideas and pick out the best bits of each...and use the ideas that Im comfortable with...and that way I create my own style of play... HOH 1 is on the way so I will be reading that...some great posts in this forum too...It didn't cost me anything to try out these ideas from this guide as I just used a freeroll and some play money games but Im always happy to try out new ideas

Re: Guide to NLHE tournament play: fifth edition
U missed the most advanced strategy in poker when u flop a royal flush or the absolute nuts no matter what the turn and river bring u must insta fold to a min bet or any raise at all then u must show your hand and explain to the table that you are tighter then a rock and u will never take the chance of any hand ever beating u unless u have the nuts at the river on the river u also want to fold to show your guts to make amazing laydowns

tl/dr [/ QUOTE ] Too long; didn't read? I will have to include an executive summary. I can also repost the first edition which was shorter. Harringtion takes 2 volumes. I summarize the most important concept in much less. If you desire to be a top tournament player, you should study and read my guide many times. |
