I think Wright would be a little pricey in this type of role, but I also think that this gives the Yanks the best options for a starting staff. As far as the outfield goes, I heard Juan Pierre's name being thrown around today on the radio too. Does anyone know his contract status? I'd think he'd be a better fit than Damon just on age. Joe

I heard this might have been Matsui's last year with the Yanks. Don't think he is a FA so does that mean they have been talking about trading him? If so, we'll give you Chris Burke for Matsui straight up.
