You know TT, you say this, but I just dont see the logic in sitting down with a bunch of 2+2ers in a LAGgy chipspewing fest. Call me a tightwad nit (and a lawyer too, thus confirming the hypothesis about nit-ism), but this sounds like a high-variance, high-frustration experience.

I want to add one additional comment to your statement Derek. If there were no 2+2'ers involved, what type of table would you want to play at? a table 1/2 full of LAGs and 1/2 full of loose passives. Sounds like you would have had your dream table last night eh?

personally, i'd like to be at a table full of loose passives, but thats just me. they still make gigantic mistakes, and are easier to read.

Great trip report!

Yes, I can attest that you look about as lollipop gay as they come.

OT question, it looks like I'm going to be losing what little hair I have now to chemo. So, tell me, how do you keep your head looking smooth and shiny? Also, if I shave it all off before it falls out on it's own, can I just not use any guard for the electric clippers, or do I have to shave it with a real razor blade?

I have never been completely bald, so this will be a new one!

Hi Felicia,
I have the Kojak look so let me tell you how I do it. Use the electric clippers to cut your hair down as close as you can. Then soak a washcloth in hot water and put in on your head for a few minutes. Do that twice. Then I use a little shaving oil (you can get that in the drugstore chains), followed by shaving gel. I use a Gillette Mach 3 with a new blade. Afterwards you can use a little cocoa butter or other moisturizer and you should be nice and shiny.
All the best to you, Felicia. And remember, bald is beautiful, baby.

My ideal table would have around 30% LAGs, with the remainder of the players mixed between loose passive and tight passive. This way, all pots are likely to be raised, with substantial dead money from the LP-Ps. You can participate in large pots that come with an overlay, but you can use position and/or the LAG's raising, to press your edge hard but without the frustration of too many suckouts.

50% LAGs and 50% LPPs sounds like a high variance game.

I dont know, maybe Im just a pussy.

Tere was no more varience than the game you and I played in together, with the maniac to my right. You are already used to tables like this, you just don't realize it yet. Show up this weekend to be a railbird, and if you feel like joining in the fun you can, or you can abstain instead.
