I didn't get into reading him till later because I got him confused with about three other RGP posters with the same last name.

Don't worry, I hear the Giants are cutting payroll again next year....hey, whatever happened to Rob Nen?

lol. I think he's hanging out with Rob Beck. I'm assuming this will be the Giants 1-2 punch in the bullpen next year.

LOL!

Back then I mostly went to RGP for poker news and rules related topics. For strategy discussion I usually came here. Since Paul didn't write much about either news or rules and I occasionally ran into a Gary Phillips and Razzo (there's one other Phillips I think) post I missed reading Paul for a long while.

Obviously they are in different leagues regarding their writing and poker ability.

Another person, not really interested before, thinks, "Wow, only 100 copies ... I wasn't going to get it before if everyone and their sister would have one, but now, I think I'll grab one since it's so rare."

You're talking about how quantity affects demand, not how supply affects demand.

As someone pointed out rightly above, apples and oranges. I was keeping it as Meat and Potatoes as possible, whereas some wanted to stick with the academia involved (which is quite fine to do) which would then make my examples different ... but not necessarily my point. Regardless, welcome to the thread.
