I've stopped calling from the Small Blind with marginal hands.
I've stopped calling raised pots from the Big Blind with marginal hands.
I've stopped calling small pairs (77 or lower) in a raised pot fearing domination or a coin flip.
I've stopped playing AQoff, AJoff, KQoff, KJ, 10Joff, K10.

All the little $.50 or $1 more to calls that I haven't made, have helped me build my bankroll to $400 in 4 days.

with these standards when you go on a bad run of cards your probably won't play any hands. and good players will pick on you, particularly your blinds which basically have someone else's name on them.

Thanks for bumping this. I missed it the first time round and my life wasn't complete without it.

I've marked it a "favorite thread" and will read it for inspiration whenever I need a big success over the next 4 days.

On a partially related note, I was goofing around last night on a friends computer without PT. I won 100% of my SDs and only had one losing hand that I can recall where I invested more than a single sb. I won over 40bbs in less than 100 hands. So for all you people who think PT isn't the devil, I have indisputable proof that PT hurts your game. In fact, we all know that Party looks at what's running on your computer. I believe my results last night prove that Party is rigged in favor of people without PT.
