why is that?

because:

1. there's no need to flood oot with a bunch of threads about different seeds, final 8, final 4 etc.

2. a lot of these are extremely witty but once you're used to the joke, they're not very funny anymore so even if they were initially very humourous, they're not going to win.

3. the voting is skewed because the current voting system is arduous for the voter and they might particularly vote for their favourite ones and not vote at all in the other categories, or vote at random.

4. seeding should be used for important things, not something like this, especially when there wasn't even any need to find a "winner" in the first place, some are funny, some aren't, whatever.

5. turning what could have been one quick poll into a long process of comparison takes all the fun out of this.

6. all of these are a matter of taste anyway so who even cares what the majority of people think, it's all about what the right people think.

lol i'm just saying i think a more relaxed way of doing this would have been just one vote. but whatever, as long as my kurosh comic is doing well, i'm happy.

If you consider "bust," up $50,000, then yes, I'm bust. I lost 10k in ONE of a few HU matches with neverwin and bitched after he hit runnings tens with T4s to outdraw my aces and ever since then, everyone has been making stuff up about it.
