Re: Geography trivia
Here are my guesses (haven't read the thread)
What is the most populous city east of Reno NV and west of the Mississippi River? LA What is the first foriegn country that one reaches when travelling due south of Detriot Michigian? MEXICO Not Counting Alaska, which state extends the furthest north? MINNESOTA What state extends the furthest east? MAINE What state capital has the highest elevation? SANTA FE (this one was on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and it would've cost me about $100,000 if I had been in the chair at the time) What state has the highest population density( per sq mile)? RHODE ISLAND Not Counting Alaska, which state has the longest coastline? MICHIGAN (FLA is my second guess) What is the only city in the world(of course it happens to be in the US) where a boat can sail, under a train driving, underneath a car driving, underneath a plane flying(I think I worded that one right)? DUMBEST QUESTION I EVER HEARD. What is the only state capital to not have a McDonalds? MONTPELIER What state east of the mississippi has the largest land area I'M LOOKING AT THE MAP, AND I STILL DON'T KNOW. Florida was my first guess, before peeking. World Trivia I don't know, and I don't care. Sorry. |
