players who only raise AA, KK, and QQ out of the blinds, or even those hands plus AK and AQ, are NOT good players.

guys, you're talking about checking AA in the BB 1/1000 "for deception." if you play brick and mortar exclusively, and do it 1/1000, are you really deceiving anybody?

you might as well say you raise it every time. you're not really mixing up anything.

Hey dave, if raising with AA every time makes me predictable, then call me Mr. Predictable.

Seriously, you are a giant retard if you miss out on raising with AA/KK.

Mix up your play with something else.

Look Bart, David - I'm not saying that unpredictable play isn't important in a tougher game where players are paying attention.

But this 8/16 game you guys have on right now isn't one them. There is no need to go, "Hmm..I'm gonna just check my AA in my SB with 8 callers here. Then I can c/r the flop and protect my hand."

This is horrible small limit advice. You give up way too much equity and thus instead of potentially winning a bigger pot you win a smaller one. Saving that 1 smaller or 2 smaller bets is not the way to win loose small stakes hold'em.

I must say, pocket aces are great but I'm not loving their chances 8 way, though of course they are a favorite.
