As a side note, with GoT back in town that's going to make the local game a little tougher.

Don't worry, I heard about the 30 with 2/3 kill at the Muck, so I'll be down soon enough.

GoT

If you mean overs, your correct.

They bought a bunch of Kill buttons I'm told, but they seem to have lost them.

Not as fun, but it'll do. Please tell me they have $10 chips...

GoT

Haaaaaa

I laughed so hard at this I just sprayed milk all over the monitor. Jeez, who in their right mind has ever heard of $10 cheques. Nickles and Quarters only, and yes most of them can't declare a 3 bet, they just keep stacking nickles until they get there. I normally estimate what they are doing by looking at my watch.

15 seconds of stacking is just a call.
30 seconds is maybe a raise or a call with some thinking.
45 seconds they are definetly trying to find enough nickles to raise.
60 seconds they have fallen asleep waiting for the other three people in front of them to call.

They put them in the same drawer with the plans to expand the room.

Dude, you are forgetting the white chips. You have to love watching the dealers try to figure out the side pot when someone is all-in preflop for $37 in a raised pot.

Hey, does anyone car to elaborate on their dislike for the Parkers/Hollywood/Drift triumvirate? I go to the Muck occasionally but being a Seattlite it is just so much easier to hit the Aurura card rooms. Over the past 6 weeks I have been having a great time taking money from drunken players at the Parkers 4-8, so I guess I have no reason to not really like them. Plus the odds are 50-50 that someone gets escorted out of the 8-16 game shortly after last call (hmmm, this might be why people don't want to play there).

Ya think?

Parkers I don't like the floor guy, and don't really like the dark, creepy parking lot (or the single guys who sit in idling cars next to the strip club... oi, its creepy). I've actually never been to the Drift, but I imagine its about the same. Hollywood I just don't find myself enjoying the people, and don't find the 6/12 to be terribly exciting. All three of them share the "bingo players anonymous" syndrome that I can't get a handle on, either

Hmm... Maybe I should go there tonight..

Which one?

FWIW I go to parker's all the time and always enjoy myself. [censored] can get a little crazy there, but its part of the fun.

Mostly I'm irrationally superstitious about it; I'm like 1 for 15 sessions there.. I can't beat those bad players! *laughs*

Hmm, I'm making my monthly trip to seattle (office) and was thinking of playing at parkers tomorrow night. Either that, omaha at lil's, or the tourney at the muck if I get out of work in time (I think it runs on tuesdays?)
