I can't think of a single situation where I would want to flash a card to my opponent.

In this case it would be extra dumb for the poster to flash a card or announce a hand because you really dont care what the villian has with your top full house, getting a read on him is not important, the only thing it might accomplish is letting him get a read on you. Now if you felt like you needed a read that would be a different story, but that is not the case here and all a flash would do is give away free information. IMO part of live poker is about you not giving away tells and concentrating hard on the other peoples tells, it is not about becoming an actor. As soon as you start to become an actor you are focusing on yourself and not the other people, and you are possibly giving away information.

soiler min raises,

[/ QUOTE ]

Id like to point out the awesome amount of sklansky bucks I won with this min 3bet of my straddle since I had AdJd.

I think villians play in this hand was pretty genius whether he knew it or not. Because almost no one in pfunks shoes would not have the balls to bluff after being shown the K. And if villian is ahead then theres not much hes gonna get value from anyways.

That said, I did think there was definately a good chance pfunk was bluffing so I think he put on a pretty good act, but there has to have been a better way to get the guys stack. I certainly agree with a bigger turn bet because the guy sounded very honest when he announced he had a king on the flop.
