Default Some Suggestions

1) We call it the "Champions' Forum," like they do on the golf tour.

2) You'll need to prove you're over fifty to participate. We don't want the young 'uns criticizing our ancient ways. The good news is we get Sklansky, Malmuth, and Zee.

3) We can form an association, and try to get discounts on things (like tournament entry fees), like AARP does.

4) All B&M cardrooms should have seniors parking spots, right next to the handicapped spots, close to the entrances and exits.

This is such a good idea that it probably has no chance of happening.

Discounts I don't care about, I don't buy much. But guaranteed VIP parking is fantastic and IMO would attract customers.

My 14-year old is constantly harping on me to look for a closer parking spot. Man, I'm an AARP member with a bad back and leg and he can't walk as far as I can?

Rotten kids.

I've started to get promo stuff from the AARP and it sort of freaked me out That said, I like good deals on things so I'm sure to join. I thought you had to be 55?

PS If we get the "Over 50" forum I'd like to start a thread titled "Where do you get the best packaged or canned prunes?". The packaged ones I just got from Trader Joe's tasted darn good and the supermarket prunes my Father gave me earlier this year when I visited sure did the trick. I need a trick before tomorrow :.

Fortunately I'm not in need of prunes yet. But if you could find a deal on glucosamine ...

I recently purchased some new glasses - and the gal selling them noted that I was 'over 50' and asked if I belonged to AARP. I said no, but she gave me the AARP discount anyway. She felt sorry for me because I had to wait a few days for my glasses, as they had to order special blanks to grind my new lenses (extra thick progressives, stigmatism in one eye etc). Being 'old' felt good, for a moment anyway.

So what's the action for this over 50 Forum? I am tired of wading through posts and don't have the time on my downhill slide through the latter days of a misused life to put up with the young buck swagger and deluge of drivel that is more and more the norm of the 2+2 forums. Do I send a copy of my birth certificate or passport to Mason?

Maybe the reason for the bad back and leg is all the long walks in parking lots. It sounds like your son has learned from his father's mistakes
