Rkiray,

You take my seemingly pithy comment to a whining and apparently non-winning player and suck all of the fun right out of it.

Default Early Posts from Homer

It's fun to look back at early posts...

First Small Stakes post - Look at Hand 1. I've met no resistance and am wondering whether I should bet the turn with top-two when checked to. Then I get check-raised and want to fold, assuming that my opponent must have turned a straight. Weak-tight since day one, lol. BTW, where's Jim Brier?

Some early advice - I must have read a book or two in the few weeks between the first post and this one.

You know what's weird? When I look at these posts now, I remember them like they were made yesterday. Time flies.

I think you'd be the hands down winner in Ulysses' $8.5k challenge.

I heard JB decided to go back to graduate school and doesn't spend much time on poker anymore.

Hey Homer...

I went back a couple of months ago and looked at my first post. In one, with KK, I believe I called a pre-flop raise, my kings are an overpair, and then I think I went call-call-fold the river when my opponent kept betting.

That was a year ago. Time does fly.

EDIT -- Just went and looked again. It was bad, but not that bad. However, classic is Homer's response...

"Your fold is not good."

Hmmm nothing's changed.

What should I do here? Fold? Or call the turn and check-call the river?

And you are check-calling the river from last position.

Looks like you landed at 2+2 about when I did. My first posts were equally silly.

I like how bernie's posts even then were just as utterly incomprehensable.
