Yeah, that was stupid on my part. And probably "in God's image" doesn't do justice to the meaning of the phrase in it's original language or understanding.

David, I doubt that I would be able to answer these questions to your satisfaction. There are many books available that discuss these issues more clearly than I could.

While this is obviously the most palatable version of Christianity for a pluralistic society, it always struck me as rendering the whole Crucifixion/Resurrection kind of pointless. If God's going to save me no matter what I do, why is He wasting my time telling me about it?
