Perhaps you are forgetting what the 2000 Bush campaign was focused on (remember this was before 9/11)

His 4 point program was:
reduce taxes
energy policy
no child left behind
good judicial nominees

He has worked on all 4 points as promised with varrying levels of success, but he has been attempting to implement just what he promised.

You may not agree with his program, but he was honest about what his program would be, and he has stuck to it. If you disagree that he has been true to his promises, tell me why,

ACPlayer gets an F for unsubstantiated statement making: [ QUOTE ]
Lying to get elected is becoming an honorable tradition in the new republican party.

[/ QUOTE ]

BGC gets a B for the simple but basically correct summary of the Bush 2000 program, and ACPlayer has not contradicted BGC's assertion that Bush is pushing the program he promised.

As stimulating as this little back and forth you guys have going is.

What are your presedential nominees. No politics, just who you would want to be prez without worrying about electability. That is the purpose of the OP.

That's really an odd thing to say.

AC has proved that if you just keep saying something...
liar
liar
liar
liar
some fools will believe what you say.

He still hasn't provided any proof that W is not basically doing what he promised he would do in the 2000 campaign.

I'll take W's honest attempt to keep his promises over AC's repetitive mantra any day.
