Re: Favorite Non-Macro Brews
What a travesty, page four and no mention of the dog. For me the answer is easily Newcastle Brown Ale.

[/ QUOTE ] It's all over VA baby! I love both the lager and black and tan. Best "cheap" beer available in my opinion. |

Re: Favorite Non-Macro Brews
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA is excelent. Victory Hop Devil is also another good choice for hopheads.
Also, I'm not big on Trippels, but I tired Weyerbacher Merry Monks Belgium Ale the other day for the first time, and was very impressed. In fact, I was pretty impressed with their whole line (the Hefeweizen was a bit more full bodied than many of the wheats I'v had - and very good). |

Fat Tire Anchor Steam Bass Guinness Carlsburg Edit: How could I forget my new obsession, boddingtons. [/ QUOTE ] I've only had Boddingtons once, and it was some of the nastiest "good" beer I've ever had. I wonder if there was something wrong with the particular keg we drank it from, 'cause I've heard several other people rave about it. Describe the taste to me, compare it to a similar tasting beer or something. Swede |

Fat Tire is the nectar of the Gods. And it is not even close. [/ QUOTE ] I had Fat Tire for the first time when I stayed at the Mirage earlier this month. I drank it exclusively and plentifully while I was there, and enjoyed it. I'm not much into Ambers, but it was good for what it was, and was certainly better than the other stuff they had there. |
