Sounds like Empire is very low on cash. I wonder if we'll see withdrawal delays again?

Just to be safe, I'm pulling my money out as soon as I clear my bonus.

Oh wait, thats what I always do.

It's getting a lot of replies because you're a troll and crying about how they banned you for nothing. Your post is hilarious and makes me wonder do you think the poker world owes you something? What would you do without bonuses?

the wal-mart analogy is terrible:

empire is losing money off of its bottom line from bonus whores, while wal-mart (unless they were selling goods for below cost - which is ludacris) is still making money from the sale chasers.

many of us (me included) abuse the bonus system. however, i'm not going to bitch when my empire account gets banned. i make too much money off of these sites to bitch.

i will agree that there are alternate measures (i.e. higher requirements, account-specific reloads, etc.) that should be taken before banning accounts for no reason.

Whether you see my analogy as terrible or not (and I can confirm that some stores do sell products where they lose money) this is the only part that really needs to be agreed on. It was a terrible way of going about enforcement. I mean its not like Empire guarantees a monthly bonus or anything so why not just quit offering it if its that much of a "loss leader", or make them account specific, or let people know they are at risk of losing thier accounts because of this. Empire took the WORST route and seems unwilling to negotiate.

How is it the worst route? The only people they banned were the people that NEVER played other than for a bonus. How is that a poor route? I'd ban you also if you only caused me to lose money. It's not like you will ever play at their company without a bonus. What value are you to Empire? Why would they want to negotiate with you?

Also agreed but there was reason to ban these people.

"and we should all write threatening e-mails to them."

Best might be to threaten to close your account.
