This is a good point, and along with the KK and QQ arguments, makes me think 3-betting the flop is a good idea. If he caps, then you know you should slow down.

And it costs a lot less than getting trifecta'd [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Thanks that was some solid advice. I'm thinking the 3-bet on the flop was in order. I ended up saving myself some $ however he showed down AK.

That sucks, but I don't think you were at all remiss to put him on a steal. He missed a bet on the turn.
