Were you guys drinking bottles or pints? Draught Newcastle is notoriously smooth (low carbonation?), so the odds may have been stacked from the start. Well-done, IndieMatty.

I was drinking Stella, Matty was drinking Newcastle...

[/ QUOTE ]

So basically you went for quality and Matty went for quantity.

If you were a stranger I would put you on ignore. Newcastle is an amazingly tasty beer. What are you talking about?

This is incorrect. Newcastle is quality as well.

Meh. I just don't care for it. I'll take the Stella every day.

As well!?!? It's heads and shoulders above a Stella. (A fine beer in itself, but you can't even compare it to Newcastle)

What was the place and how'd you like it? I was just at a KBBQ place (I forget the name now, it's co-owned by Tarantino, in the West Village) that was very subpar IMO.

Did you have the bulgogi?

In my defense the state of my kidneys doesn't allow me to drink beer and that has affected my choice of alcoholic beverage.
Good times were had by all.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. Good times. Also, Santana Moss was filling those glasses with vodka, I think you got the better end of the deal.

if i can do 3 beers at one time in a funnel, does that count?

[/ QUOTE ]

my best is 6. but then i am pretty much wasted

[/ QUOTE ]

I somehow doubt this, but whatever, i'm not going to get in a pissing match about this.

my funnel only holds 3-12oz beers, or else i would be putting more in it.

on a side note, it's good to see that one of my posts is being quoted . i thought i was being ignored by a lot of people, which would be sad

Pale lager vs. brown ale. Apples and oranges.
