Says the same guy who said the most popular book of the last decade is crap.

[/ QUOTE ]

Be careful now - The Bible and "Quotations from Chairman Mao" are/were both incredibly popular books, so "popular" most definitely does not necessarily imply "not crap"

Actually, I'm kinda guessing here that it is "The Da Vinci Code".

You mean it's not crap? I've pretty much assumed it's trash.

I am not so sure it was the most popular, btw. There was that series of fundamentalist Christian apocalyptic pulp fiction that sold like a bazillion copies. I think it even outsold the Bible.

EDIT: Just looked it up. A Grisham book. From CNN:

"The best-selling single book from the list was Grisham's "The Pelican Brief," which registered 11,232,480 copies sold. Number two was also a Grisham title; "The Client," which sold 8.1 million copies."

I liked it, but I'm no bookophile(ugh..). I can see how the discerning eye might call it crappy. Kinda the literary equivalent of a Jerry Bruckheimer movie, I;d say.

Clearly the key to being a superior poker author is reprinting the same content with italics changed to BOLD.

Or was it the other way around...
