Re: *** Official Super Wednesaday ***
***** Hand History for Game 3124775900 *****
10000/20000 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (Limit) (Tournament 17869370) - Thu Dec 01 03:33:08 EST 2005 Table Super Wednesday(524703) Table 1 (Real Money) -- Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 3 Seat 3: BeerBongHor (475053) Seat 7: Franziska (152112) Seat 10: Mundos (43835) Franziska posts small blind (5000) Mundos posts big blind (10000) ** Dealing down cards ** BeerBongHor folds. Franziska calls (13835) ** Dealing River ** : [ 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] Creating Main Pot with $87670 with Mundos ** Summary ** Main Pot: 87670 | Board: [ Th Td Qs 6s 4c ] BeerBongHor balance 475053, didn't bet (folded) Franziska balance 108277, lost 43835 [ J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ] [ a pair of tens -- Qs,Js,Th,Td,9h ] Mundos balance 87670, bet 43835, collected 87670, net +43835 [ 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] [ three of a kind, tens -- Qs,Tc,Th,Td,9s ] I have a question on Mundos play on the flop and turn. Mundos has to assume that he is ahead on the flop, but any draws against him are getting 5:1 and probably have the right odds to call. Then on the turn, he has less than a complete bet, and Franziska gets the right price again. Can someone explain to me why he wouldn't want to give a free card on the flop so that he has an oppurtunity to to lay only 3:1 on the turn and make it a mistake for villian to call with a flush draw or OESD? Giving opponents chances to make Fundamental Theorem of Poker mistakes our #1 goal, right? Is giving the free card too costly, or was he just so short stacked that he needed to take the chance to double up and have a chance of taking 2nd or 1st? Edit: Oops, I forgot. Good luck CardSharpCook! |
