Not total mindfuck movies (but movies that are kinda intense that you'll find cool if you like the ones OP listed)...
Suicide Kings Playing God I too highly recommend: The Game Fight Club Usual Suspects MEmento Identity The remake of The Manchurian Candidate was pretty good. I didn't hate the Village, but it certainly wasn't as cool as any of the first three Shamalamadingdong movies (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs). The Mothman Prophecies was a cool one, as is The Prophecy. |

It's a [censored] travesty that you watched Vanilla Sky rather than the original, Abre Los Ojos. All Amenebar's films are awesome IMHO, and as penance for your sin of allways watching unoriginal US remakes I think you should watch his back catalogue.
I'm sure you would enjoy them. They all screw with your head a little, and his films are all an exploration of Death, perhaps the most head-[censored] of subjects. |
