I think this is played beautifully. Those of you advising a 3 bet are reading to far, you know at a later point he collected because the villan had a busted draw, but its not impossible for villan to have AJ here which makes hero a bad draw, why 3 bet that? Once the next jack drops, hes more secure, and the check raise river made him more than the extra flop bet would have...

I would 3bet the flop, bet the turn, and go from there. If he has a heart you gotta charge the MFER.

Heart? what if hes on AJ, KJ, QJ and ur 3 betting...

People call AJ all the time with a UTG raise, but they wont reraise with aj.

Odds are higher that he has a J than a heart.
Unfortunately you already know that he prob had hearts by the way the hand plaeyd out... but i think 3 bet is incorrect here, could be a WA/WB scenario in which we are WB.

First of all.

He cold called our raise, which means he is either not a 2+2er, or if he is, he has a hand like AQs or KQs. If he's truly solid coldcalling with AJo is stupid, and AJs is marginal.

From Original,
"It made it pretty tough to recognize who is (a 2+2er)who since we are all playing pretty LAG preflop.

Reads: Non 2+2er super solid kid to my left wearing headphones. The guy next to him is the villian in this hand. I have no read on him but I think he might be a 2+2er."

People call AJ through a PFR all the time! yea it isnt a good play but raising utg with J10s is no gem...
This table is clearly LAG.

monsters under the bed. 3-betting strong but vunerable hands is a pretty necessary move as opponents become more aggressive. going with shill's description, i dont give villian credit for a hand that beats us with the flop raise.

What makes 3-betting better than a stop and go here?
