Re: Push with nines?
[ QUOTE ]
I just play the plo 2000 on party. [/ QUOTE ] Is this supposed to impress me? I play much smaller than this on occasion and much larger than this on occasion as well. I play in whatever game is good. [ QUOTE ] and your argument sucks. are you saying if i have a stack of 10,000, 3000 goes in on the flop, and i am married to the hand. that is asinine. [/ QUOTE ] You should learn to read better. My argument says NOTHING about this being proper, I said, and I quote "In your games do players often lead into a preflop raiser and then check/fold on the next card with 30-40% of their stack in the pot?" Notice that says nothing about whether this play is correct or not. Furthermore your example of 3000$ committed out of my 10000$ stack is dissimilar from this situation. In this situation, the Villain had a smaller than 50xBB stack, and led into a preflop raiser on an innocuous board. I challenge you to find 3 hand histories where an opponent did this and then check-folded on the next card. |

Re: Push with nines?
[ QUOTE ]
And if you are you married to hands when 30% of your stack is in the middle you will be a sure loser. [/ QUOTE ] True. [ QUOTE ] How much of your stack is in the middle should have no bearing on your future actions. [/ QUOTE ] Not true. |

Re: Push with nines?
Don't forget the possibility that he has an overpair and a back-door flush draw. Your odds here would be roughly:
30-70 |
