Statswise, you may be playing a little loose in the SB, IMHO.

I'm taking my shot and will drop down when I lose 5K. So far I'm down 700 after about 3.5K hands. I'm very focused on table selection.

Believe it or not this is damn close to what I guessed your standard deviation would be. FWIW I would consider this a fairly normal standard deviation. A few things from your results FWIW:

1. You're almost certainly not a big winner or a moderate winnner in this game. I define a moderate winner as about 1.8 BB/100. Likewise you're almost certainly not a big loser either and it looks to me like there's a very small chance that you're even a moderate loser. Looks to me like the odds favor you being a slight loser at around -.7 BB/100.

2. Like I stated previously if you are beating this game your win rate is small.

3. As I'm sure you know your results can very widely after 30,000 hands.

Your stats look a little strange to me.

btn 0.06
CO 0.07
HJ 0.06
3 0.07
4 0.06
5 0.06
6 0.08
7 0.01
SB -0.14
BB -0.22

Those numbers are not supposed to be even across the board, the closer to the button you get the more bb/hand you should be making.

Over 133k hands I have the following:

btn 0.13
CO 0.11
HJ 0.09
3 0.07
4 0.06
5 0.03
6 0.04
7 0.03

These numbers might be a bit off since about 60% of the hands are shorthanded.

My guess is that you need to learn how the play the last 4 positions a little better.

My early pos stats might be a bit low... bummer.

well lakerman, welcome to the forums...

one thing about statistics though is that when an run occurs over th data, all the data except the stable converged numbers tend to be wrong...

VPIP and PFR converge incredibly fast and are not affected by a downswing.

win rate and $won however are highly affected by a downswing.

peterrus plays more hands in later position and if we assume he's having a really bad run here then the #'s would tend to look a bit skewed. im sure normally that his stats look like yours (although a bit less dominant on the last 3 because you play so often SH)

anyways, since he plays more hands in late position and is (as assumed) on a downswing, it stands to reason that those later position bb stats will be off from their 'true' value since their so highly affected by the win rate and the win rate is off from its 'true value' due to a prolonged bad run.

I be surprised to find out you can't win consistently 30/60.

I would do the old standbys for hitting a bad patch and that is turtle up. Play tighter, bring the aggression down a notch (for you maybe a couple of notches), tighten up on your attempted steals. That should get you pointed in the right direction.

Am I taking crazy pills? It looks to me like you're making 0.5BB/100 since you started 30/60. This Isn't bad and you havn't played all that many hands.

From someone who's been playing 30/60 for a while -0.22 and -0.14 is pretty decent out of the blinds.

If you're gonna play 6 tables w/o table selection I have 2 pieces of advice. Tone down your expectations and get used to large swings in your bankroll.

The only odd thing I found in your stats was your PFR was bigger on the button then button +1. But winning at 30/60 isn't so much about the PT stats. Losing can still be, but not so much winning.

These numbers are actually a lot off since about 60% of the hands are shorthanded. In SH game your late positions win way more then in full as you have more opportunity to steal (not to fold to early raises!).

Your late positions are very close to my SH results at 10/20 and 15/30 SH games. Please filter out between 7 and 10 players on a table.

At 15/30 my CO and BTN looks like 0.095 and 0.110 while in SH game 0.11 and 0.13 after decent amount of hands in both cases.
