[ QUOTE ]
First time I've noticed this player bio page for the final 27 on CP.

They have Phil listed as a direct buyin for the event and H-DOG winning a freeroll.

Earlier is was mentioned that Phil won his way in or was sponsered by FT and the H-DOG won a couple low limit sats...

Is the CP page correct?

[/ QUOTE ]

Minh Ly states one of his most respected players as Bobby Bowen. Is that CP unable to decipher his asian-english when in fact he meant Bobby Baldwin?

I'm sure we'll see lots of Tiffany coverage on ESPN, whether or not she makes the final table.

I heard about it. Best case scenario for ESPN now is Matusow, H-Dog, and Sheihkan to make it, in order of importance to ratings.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think they're worried. Last year's final table was a bunch of unknowns too (to the average viewer), and it didn't hurt ratings. It just means new personalities will be made famous.

Edit: Not to mention, the final table is what? One hour of coverage out of 50?

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess it depends on how they plan on showing the final table. If they plan on just showing all-in hands, then it doesn't really matter who is on the table I guess. If they want the most interesting stories/players, then they are praying Matusow at least makes it, and H-Dog for being a black woman on the final table, and Sheikhan seems to be Matusow's nemesis at this point.

From Shawn Sheikhan's bio:

What player do you most respect:
No one

[/ QUOTE ]

Sounds like he's been demonstrating that.
Well the next best thing to having someone to root for is having someone to root against....

Today...Yes.

Technically, she has outlasted them each. That is the objective right?

What is so hard to believe about that? It's tournament poker.

I was very disappointed that they only had one hour of final table last year, which meant that all they had time for was each person's exit all-in hand. I'm hoping they go back to two hours.

Throw in Black and his gang of "nuns", and throw in the Australian and his crowd supporters and Dannenmann the maniac and it's got some potential.

Well it should be H-Dog > Ivey > Raymer in that case obviously.
