Don't focus on the things that you think are missing in your life. Rather, focus on the things that you have. I sometimes feel that there is so much missing in my own, until I re-look at see that there is much to be happy about. Set realistic goals and make honest efforts to achieve them.

Probably because he realized he wasted 10 minutes of his life trying to read all the replies to this thread which has no utility value whatsoever except to make the birthday poster feel better... but I'm sure the chicken would still say "you're almost there, good luck my friend" before he got hit by a runaway semi.
