Re: break

ESPN is praying that Matusow makes it to the final table with this group of nobodies. [/ QUOTE ] Understatement of the year. Nothing quite as uninteresting as watching the same kind of array you'd fine on the UB TV tournaments, except this time they now compete for MILLIONS OMG!!!!!!!!~!~!11! |

If Matusow is eliminated tonight it will totally kill the final table. They may need to hire some producers from Jerry Springer to tell the players what to do in order to spike the ratings. |

Matusow, Sheikran and Dannenmann as the crazy wildcard would be a nice trio in the last 9. Although I'm afraid Matusow's implosion is imminent. [/ QUOTE ] Eh... Did Ivey bust? Dammit, he did. Arrgh!! Man, Matusow better make it. |

Re: break
I heard about it. Best case scenario for ESPN now is Matusow, H-Dog, and Sheihkan to make it, in order of importance to ratings.

[ QUOTE ] Have you read Felicia Lee's journals about what GSN producers wanted to do during the WPPA? Kevin... [/ QUOTE ] link? [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The funny thing about them trying to make poker players into actors, is that Louis told me that when they first approached him about a TV contract, they had wanted to stake certain players, then seed them in the tournament, to make trouble, to cause fights. They wanted players like Arieh, Matusow and Hellmuth. They wanted to seed the players, the ones who would be most likely to start fights and controversy. Ironically, after finding out that they would not be allowed to seed real poker tournaments, they went the complete opposite direction and decided to make the set closed and silent, and turn the players into actors.
