the only way it's possible if one or both make a concession... kinda hard to maintain the integrity of your beliefs if you are giving up something. If it turns out that certain non-negotiable beliefs are actually negotiable fine, but if both sides are holding onto core beliefs that are in conflict with each other about the only thing you end up with is conflict...

1) The key is not to reconcile, but to find and do only those things that you find worthwhile.

It's worthwhile for me to go to work because I like the people I work with, I enjoy the process of the work and I need the money.

It's worthwhile for me to see some people I know cause I feel better after I see them - more interesting, smarter, funnier, more relaxed. There are other people who it's not worthwhile for me to see.

And I play poker when I find myself wanting to play poker.
