I'm no Bison but IMO if you stay a non-mormon and she stays a mormon it will not work.

You seem to not want to become a mormon, (which it sounds like you couldn't even if you wanted to), either you try to show her Mormonism is wrong or you break it off

Tip: If you try to change her, ask her to stop going to church/temple for 3 months and have no Mormon contact during this time, this will give her a chance to have a clear head for the first time in her life

Dear Bison,

I was dating this girl for about a year and a half, and then all of a sudden her dad says I can't talk to her because he hates me! She is Egyptian and a religious Christian and I am White. We are both 22 years old. The dad doesn't know me very well but for whatever reason he forbids her from talking to me, and we haven't talked in almost 6 months, although I'm almost 100% sure she hasn't moved on. She lives in Illinois now and I live in Texas so it is not easy to just drive up and see her. We are on good terms other than the fact that she is not allowed to call me. I was thinking about driving to Illinois and pay her a surprise visit but this may be too bold. What would you do in this type of situation assuming you really cared about her?

Also, in the game of pickup basketball, which is the better format? 1's and 1's (where 3 point shots count as 1), 1's and 2's, or 3's and 2's ?

How do you know whether or not you are settling for a girl? I've been with a girl for over a year and she would make a great wife someday... however i'm only 22 and i think i can do some hotter girls at my university. I still want to end up with this girl but the girls at my school are really really hot.
