All these responses and not a single Contra on NES. Let me be the first to say that I am the best Contra player.

[/ QUOTE ]

i can beat the game without ever dying too, i think that's where "best" peaks out so it's not a really good thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

One of my old roomates could beat it multiple times through on the same play without dying, that was extremely impressive. Doing it once is great but doing it consistently is perfection. I believe he worked on getting the fastest play time as well.

Seriously though, what do you play? Because if you're a turntablist we can split right there - I'm all about the rave music. If not, I'll need some credentials please. I'm better than most bedroom DJs, but if it turns out you're an international superstar and poker player (a la Monroe Secor), then you probably have me beaten.

I'm all about the rave music too but turntablism as well.

I'm no international superstar though.

Nice emoticon, btw.

Do you play out at all?

I'm willing to accept # of gigs as a determinant, although you may have an advantage over me since I live in a small city.

Came to Penn State to throw the hammer but I ended up playing rugby. They wouldn't start me off on scholorship because I was only 6'0 210 pounds at the time (very small for a thrower)

I came in 13th nationally in high school in hammer, and in shot I was two time state champ in CT but 5th in the state open (two different meets).

I hold both high school records for my school.

There are many people better in shot and hammer but I'm guessing I'd be in the top 1-3 of posters on 2+2.

Do you throw?

A whole bunch of house parties/after parties. No actual raves. A few club one-off gigs that actually kind of sucked because all anyone wanted to hear was whatever was popular on the radio at the time.

I will own the upcoming Guitar Center spinoff.

I believe I am the best at the original teenage mutant ninja turtles game (not TMNT II the arcade game which came out later and was trivial to beat, Infact, this might be the greatest swing in difficulty from predcessor to sequal in gaming history) on NES. I am the only person I know who has ever finished it, and even I can't do it everytime.
