That said, once it's headsup, even the most passive players often come out of their shell, as there is no worry about finishing 3rd place anymore. It's not like he can inch his way up another spot in the money.

Anyway I'll stop now because the plays were not as clearcut as I expected them to be, and as such, reads could have some affect on the play. I still don't like generalizing how someone will play headsup by watching their play 3-5 handed.

Also I've spoken to ZJ and he gives me the impression that the "reads" that are being given to this player on 2+2 are quite innaccurate based on his earlier play.
