Re: WPT excitment waning
I found this WPT to be the most interesting one so far. Phil Laak's behaviour was extremely annoying but his play more than made up for it.
Why is it so much better to take it slow if it doesn't give you an edge? It's not any more entertaining. I found Laak's multiple all-in moves a refreshing change of pace. |

Re: WPT excitment waning
I was at a taping for an upcoming WPT episode filmed in April, it can't air soon enough!!!!!
So I am still excited.... LOL! Have to see if I got any face time up in the audience.... 8) Seeing it from behind the scenes makes it even more interesting! Before we got underway they had each side of the audience make a PRETEND your watching a major hand clip and the BEER thing at the end, there were 4 takes! Meeting Shana 1 on 1 was a highlight too! 8) -Bri |

Re: WPT excitment waning
I think the personalities were more interesting than usual.
The play wasn't that great to watch. The only action I remember postflop was Brenes and Juanda checking through after another player was all in with them preflop. I think John even said something about them checking it through after the turn which seems against the rules. |
