I didnt see how the 72 all in scenario is similar to raising this flop, in the 72 situation you are done with the hand and take no further action, in this hand a raise on the flop makes it easier to either take a free card or fold to a 3bet, also fold on the turn if opponent calls the flop and leads the turn...

I have seen many posts where a player says that raising makes the hand easier to play, including raising preflop, is this always wrong? too similar to raising for info?

there were no notes about the players in this hand...is this more applicable if a players is more ABC?
