Aaron,

Thank you for taking the time to read so many of my posts, even though you claim they routinely make no sense. I am always interested in hearing feedback from intelligent posters, or persons like yourself.

Best wishes,

chesspain

Well, your ego is and always has been getting in the way of your saying anything intelligent. So I would put you in the second category as well.

What bothers me about you is the sheer volume of bad advice that you have given over time. Of all the posters who tend to give bad advice, you are the most prolific.

Just because the rest of us don't post that much doesn't mean that we haven't tried! Please, don't rule out the low-volume bad-advice givers.

Default Re: Loose Games: Not giving them correct odds to chase vs. no slowplaying

It looks to me like this thread is getting into Morton's Theorem territory.

In a nutshell, Morton says that in a multiway pot, there comes a range of pot sizes where you want your opponents to fold even though this is the correct move, in opposition to the FTOP that says you always want your opponent to make a mistake.

My interpretation of that is, get 'em and bet 'em. No point in keeping the pot small, they will come along regardless. Rather than trying to get them to make a mistake by chasing improper odds, you want them to make the correct move and fold.
