I guess I should have said "rarely" rather than "never".

Thanks for the ESPN link. I am enjoying reading the list.

I think it will take me a bit longer than this. I'm shooting for 150.

Come on man, 150 isn't a bit longer than 100, it's 50% longer. That's a lot freaking longer! You need to challenge yourself more. If you don't think you can do 100 at least go for 110.

Online games generally play tougher than their B&M counterparts. Sometimes much tougher.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is comforting to hear. I had played a few times in B&M casinos, and had done ... okay. When I started playing online at the same stakes, I got absolutely savaged and crawled back to the play money tables to lick my wounds.

After more reading and more play-money and lower stakes games, I've tightened up substantially and, I think, gotten a bit better.

I'll be heading down to Foxwoods next month, and I'll be curious to see how much better I'm doing at live play.

The fact that you're not winning much money should suggest to you that there are others who are winning.

Well... Your post tells volumes about why you don't find success in poker.

I want results from the players on this forum, tell me what you have made, how much are you up, how long have you been playing, I need proof that playing poker can be another source of some cash!!

[/ QUOTE ]

I have made $27,651.44
I am up $27,651.44
I have been playing since June 2001

Somehow that doesn't seem like much proof, especially since I made up those numbers

Some players need inspiration

You're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you!!!

How's that?

This isn't true. If every played exctly the same the only winner would be the casino. So just because he's losing doesn't mean someone has to be winning.
