[ QUOTE ]
What's better? mana 1 or evermore? [/ QUOTE ] you can't be serious. Evermore was piss poor. I can't really narrow it to one, but my top 5 are easily FF2, FF3, Zelda 3, CT and Secret of Mana |

Final Fantasy III
Chrono Trigger Secret of Mana Final Fantasy II All the Super Mario games Street Figter 2 Turbo All of these have already been mentioned. Two other great games in the RPG genre are: Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals Ogre Battle The first is a turn-based game in the Final Fantasy mold that has excellent character development and side quests within the game, including a 99 level dungeon that is nearly impossible to conquer. Ogre Battle is almost a tactical game of Risk with armies (groups) and a good/evil ranking system. It is an unknown gem. Also Secret of Mana is far superior to Secret of Evermore. |

Forgot to mention Tales of Phantasia (only released in Japan). Easily as good if not better than FFIII or Chrono Trigger.
